Slightly Strange

Yesterday morning I came across a woman walking down the middle of the road, not a main road, the strange thing being was she was walking backwards and not paying very much attention to where she was going. Reminded me of Spike Milligans "Walking Backwards For Christmas".
I saw her again this morning, still walking backwards but on the pavement this time and paying a little more attention to what was in front/behind her, maybe it is a new exercise craze.

Then later yesterday, I saw a guy in a cabriolet with the roof down transporting a tall cupboard/wardrobe in the passenger seat, with the seat belt "holding it" down. He just happened to perfectly time his drive with the roof down with a very heavy rain shower, it was hissing it down.

You used to be able to do it to some cars, by putting them on axle stands and running the motor in reverse.

She's making herself appear younger by walking backwards and 'clocking' her odometer.

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it. It's terribly devious but perfectly legal.

Walking/running backwards is a very good exercise, uses a different set of muscles...so I've been told

At 7 in the morning, she does walk in a straight line which I imagine is hard after a few drinks.
