Just asked Mrs Dave. They are from M&S and cost £19.50.........so aren't cheap....but if you suffer and they do the job its worth every penny. She buys a size larger and wears thick socks with them.
I need a size 9 probably (esp if wearing socks)...they don't sell them  Indeed, I'm yet to find anything similar in a shop in a 9

Mrs Dave is googling (to try and find them) as I type. But can you not buy a pair of 5s and a pair of 4s.............then stitch them together ? Have I just invented something brilliant ??

Well I said stitch but you shouldn't take that literally...........super glue will do the job.
But seriously............
The web site shows them in sizes 8. 81/2. 9. 91/2 & 10.
Link? Also what are they made of as both suede and really synthetic fleece make my skin crawl!!

I hate slippers, can't stand them, like to walk around in socks or bare feet, my other half on the other hand can't live without them, she goes for the furry fluffy soft boot type ones (a bit like an Ugg but not quite). Think it stems from fact that she gets cold feet & hands really easily, which is something I've never had an issue with (i don't really mind the cold in general, much prefer it to the heat/ anything over 22-24C)

Slippers are ace

Mrs N gets a right cob on if I wear proper shoes in the house. But I need to wear something that lets me pop out to the bins or the garage. Slippers (with a hard sole) are the ideal compromise footwear

Its a completely irrational hatred tbf, I always take shoe off indoors as had it drummed into me when I grew up in France, used to be made to put slippers on when visting friends (which could lie behind this irrational hatred!). I have a pair of wellingtons to hand for if I need to quickly slip on something for popping outside if its raining, I'm ashamed to admit I will often just put the bins out in bare feet if its dry.

no no no.........you wear slippers for various reasons.......one of which is so you don't tread in nasties then walk it into the house. Slippers to the door----into outside wear........sort bins out..........then in reverse order
Kids these days

I've just remembered something from when I was living in China

Almost all Chinese apartments have heavily polished hardwood floors. Occupants take great pride in the "shine" so when you visit, walking in with your shoes on is a big no no. But your host is too polite to have you paddling around in your socks

So every host has a big shoe rack near the door, stocked with slippers. You just pull a pair off the rack that you think might fit and wear those, returning them when you leave
