Laurence does have a point about pandas. They really are hopeless creatures.
Cute, yes, but they can't even be bothered to mate...

The panda photo depicts a traditional chinese fairground game called Pick-a-Panda.
One real panda is hidden amongst 13 stuffed toys, and you pay 50p to guess the real panda.
If you win you get some cheap plastic toy made in Hong Kong.
I think the real one is top row 3rd from the left.

doesn't look as if Binky has any siblings yet, but it's doing well... soon will be first feed time. i am slightly nervous about this.

update... after a lot of fretting by me, Binky appears to have eaten (either that or the crickets escaped). i've also had some tips from the woman who sold me two of her baby geckos a couple of weeks ago.

so today i have played musical geckos... Binky has now moved out of solitary and joined Boo and Luna (the two baby ones bought recently). Cav has been upgraded to the bigger viv to join Kelly (bought at the same time, but bigger) and Patti (mother of Binky). Ray (the dad) is on his own for now, but has a nice shiny light canopy.

this is Luna, Cav and Boo yesterday - the small ones are approx double the size of Binky

the fat tails mean they are eating... which usually means they are happy, if they get stressed then they stop eating.

it seems that mum, Patti is a bit bossy... the two i put in with her are now up the top of the viv hiding from her. plan B... which i hadn't thought of
