look who has turned up!
this is #3. i arrived home late last night and found the shell, but the hatchling had hidden. found it this morning and popped it in the 'nursery' with its sibling and the 2 juveniles.
a shot for scale... new 5p, not the older one...
meanwhile, Binky, the first hatchling, is doing well and growing...
and Gora even seems big compared to the newbie...
the pictures aren't great as they were taken using a head torch for lighting!
anyway. there are 9 eggs left, but not all will be viable. i did see mum, Patti, lay one the other day. she seems to dig them up from the sand near hatching time and also scare off the other 2 in the viv when one hatches.
i did say i would only keep 2, so this one may well be up for sale once i know it's eating and healthy.
