It's amazing how many cyclists ride along the north bank of the Tyne from Newburn to Scotswood in the run up to Easter when Warburtons are baking hot cross buns first thing.

Medomsley Road in Consett was a wonderful place to while away a few moments... until they moved the Phineas Fogg factory onto an out of town industrial estate.
