Yip its quite a old article and been on here a few times but its a good one for understanding how SMIDSY can happen it by no way excuses it though.

I havnt seen it before , So nothing new then , there is no excuse

And me going on a training course so a driver will spend more than a millisecond checking to see if he's going to run over the top of me might prove less effective than the article makes out.
