Should need a licence for a Burmese. Also needs to be in an out building away from the home. I'd never ever own one. A royal will get to 5 foot odd. Safe enough.

A guy I know used to keep all kinds of reptiles, including a massive snake. He enjoyed letting it drop onto unsuspecting people from the door frame of his "Jungle Room".
