My son's Dawes Bullet has broken - the rear deraillier bracket just snapped. Must have had some rough treatment.

Trouble is, I can't find the part on the Shimano parts list. And the bracket fits a shaped recess in the frame, so I'm wondering if it is a Dawes part.

The rear set is a Shimani RD-TX31.

Any ideas welcome. I'm waiting for a reply from Dawes.

I've attached a pic - apologies for the spelling:

Thanks,

That's a replaceable drop-out, and it'll be a Dawes part. SJS also do them, although whether they'll have one for your frame I don't know. They've got a few hundred different ones...

Have you got the bit that has broken off? If you have take it to a good LBS to get the exact match because there are many different types and it would be a bit frustrating to be sent the wrong one.

They are simple to replace once you get the correct one.

Just looked at the SJS lis it is very comprehensive, but are not they expensive for what they are? They must make them for buttons.
