Well done Ronnie. Not my favourite player, but the guy is amazing to watch. Felt sorry for Barry Hawkins; he hardly got a look in and didn't get the rub of the green either.
What to do with the extra 2.5 hours which I had put aside for watching the final? Might change the tyres on my Secteur. That only leaves 2 hours. Maybe the BBC will put on something worth watching, but I doubt it.

Maybe he and David Haye should take each other on?

I threw 10p off Largs Pier about 40 year ago, nip down , jump in and see if you can find it for me...
It would put my mind at rest and I may get back to sleeping soundly:okay:
(at the front right hand side about 10 yards out)

The tide must have moved it a wee bit, it was 14 yards out. Here it is, one of the old ones like yourself? ;)

Actually I know you are talking BS.. No-one I ever knew from Greenock would throw away 2 shillings! They would have been in after it - probably hit the water before the money .

Nah, not mine..
I moved to Largs the year we went decimal..
and I'd never throw a coin with the year of my birth on it..

I paid less than 2/- for my first pint....

and less of the old one..
I'll grab my bus pass and come down and laugh at you:laugh:

What do people think about Ronnie O'sullivans latest headline grabber?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/35590088
I think what he did was fine, he is a self employed sportsman and it is up to him whether he pots the 147 and earns £10,000 or not, the fact that he has a choice just shows the guy is special. 100% of the other players on the circuit would have gone for the black but Ronnie didn't.

Fair play to him - he's got enough brass to be able to stick to his principles and to be honest a 146 break is a far rarer thing than a 147 isn't it?
So anyone complaining might want to think on that - when was the last televised 146 break? Has there ever been one before?

He's done something similar before.

A few years ago he walked away from the table on 140 without potting the black, and Jan Verhass had to convince him to pot it with a plea of, "think of the fans Ronnie."
