Well, while my back was turned a couple of inches have fallen here near Lewes in Sussex, and it's still falling. I definitely won't be doing the audax I was planning for tomorrow then .

Blimey...just down the road from there ...no snow here...am guessing to much salt in air near coast here...and this side of th edowns etc..dam cold though and blowing a gale...it's raining hard so I guess it will snow soon. Hope so...wanna build a snow man on the beach

tunbridge wells has five inches. El Supremo the organiser of the cheese toastie 100k audax turned up to the start at Pease Pottage but no one else did. Not even me, and I was supposed to help with the food.

Nothing here. It made a half hearted attempt yesterday around midday to snow, but went to instant slush. Today it is mild enough that I am thinking of dropping a few layers for the ride.

Warm again today, 4C but there was still ice about on the ground on this mornings xc run which made it a bit interesting. Doesn't look like we'll get snow now, too warm for the next few days.

The Grand Union Canal runs past the end of my road (see photo elsewhere). Currently there are three fire engines, an ambulance and some police parked up at the nearest access and all working hard. Why do people think they can walk on frozen waterways?

About 4-5" of snow here & about 9" at the venue. Frozen solid but back at home & rather happy as it was a good day for me. An aggregate time of 9m 37s over my best 3 runs (3.81 miles), total distance of 5.08 miles across 4 runs. Out right win over & 1 min in front of the next car… a 550bhp Subaru STi WRX.
