I think your lot have the second highest tidal range on the planet after the Canadian Bay ofThe island(unsure of correct term) near the lock gates into the Avon from the harbour have seen tides that were between 1-2ft below their level for the last couple of days, There also wasn't much difference between the bottom of the old railway bridge (that runs parallel to the Cumberland basin bridge) and the water beneath
apologies if this is rather Bristol centric, but I'm amazed as to how high the waters have been
The Severn Bore is at its peak tomorrow. I might pop along to see it from a safe distance in the Gloucester/Newnham area as I've never observed it first hand.
