Sorry chaps, today was the last day of rain.....

I've finally got sick of having a dirty wet streak up my back, and put the mudguards back on the bike.
This will guarantee weeks of uninterrupted sunshine

It's supposed to be really wet here tomorrow. Glad I've got the old trusty MTb in the house. I am actually looking forward to the ride into work even though I will probably get soaked. This weather sorts out the men from the boys

My friend Andy swears by waterproof socks. Forget the shoes, and just keep your feet dry. Haven't tried it myself. Always end up pouring water out of my shoes when I get home.

They only keep your feet dry if you're wearing waterproof trousers. Otherwise, if wearing shorts, the water drains down your legs and pools in your socks. I use mine when commuting in full waterproofs, otherwise they're a bit rubbish.

Not that I have to worry today, it's predicted to be around 26 degC

Got wet last night, got wet this morning. I won't be too upset if I get wet tonight too. I'm off to cyprus tomorrow, borrowing my mates house which happens to have a couple of MTB's in it Should only be getting wet when I jump into the sea for the next few weeks

I did 29 miles whilst it was bucketing it down last night. Fortunately I was on my Tacx Genius & watching the Team TT of the Giro D'Italia at the same time

exactly, both commutes this week have had warm rain/drizzle. Shorts and short sleeve shirt for the commute this week.

Yup me too can only get wet once, couldn't face wearing a waterproof. Brought half the road home with me on my legs though...

Actually can anyone reccomend any overshoes that work with SPDs and "normal" footwear like trainers?

many moons ago I worked as a driver for a Pet/Horse food company in the winter is was really muddy so it was two pairs of trousers two pairs of socks inbetween the two sock layers were Sainsbury's carrier bags and the under trousers tucked in, effective it was. But bloody embarassing having to undress in front of the young attractive Nurse in a Casualty dept...

Left work into the rain, miserable as sin.
A mile later grinning at everybody, soaked through but warm and sweating as I upped the pace. Joy.
Gotta love warm rain.

I an think of better ways to get warm and wet, although with 2 young kids i hardely get chance to get near Mrs CK , i tell ya the eldest has nooky radar
