....when you read Joe Jackson has died and briefly mourn (Jumping Jive, Home Town, It's Different for Girls, Real Men etc etc) only to realise that it's Michael Jackson's 89 year old dad?
So is there a word in the English language to describe the relief you feel....

Well, yes, I was glad and relieved that someone else's loved one had died. I don't feel good about that.
Especially as others are apparently being arses about it.

It does give me the chance to tell my Joe (singer) Jackson story.
In the 1980s I lived in a flat in Camberwell, south east London, which used to belong to Jackson.
I had several phone calls for him.
To begin with, calls asking for 'Joe' or 'Joe Jackson' meant nothing, but I did establish the callers were asking for the singer although I forget how that became apparent.
