Which bike?

Cos it's invisible and you'll fall on your bum?

The only thing I'd be wary of is that the rear disc brake sits outside the rear seat stay rather than inside so you might have trouble fitting mudguards

You're not binding properly, not taking the weight of the engagement and then going straight to ground, penalty.

Doesn't it always go there? I've just looked at a Genesis Sportive Disc and that seems to be in roughly the same place

Nope, a lot of manufacturers are now putting the calipers on the inside of the seat stays so you can fit mudguards and/or pannier rack much easier without going down the wide rack washer look or getting bendy with mudguard stays.

I bought the Pinnacle Pyrolite for that very reason as I wanted to ditch the rucksack and go back to panniers.

Oh ok. That's good to know. Not a show stopper as I use a Carridice to commute with SKS raceblades but still something I learned today.

EDIT: I had looked at the Charge Plug at Evans but baulked at dropping down to Sora.

Looks ok, if youre doing the mileage to justify buying a scoot for commuting. With ingenuity, thought, and a cup of tea to mull the problem it's usually possible to fit mudgaurds with stays onto a bike with an external caliper.
