So pleased with myself...

I've just spend the weekend resurrecting my classic Giant Peloton. 14-speed, teal-coloured, RSX shifters, Exage mechs and brakes, 105 and MA3 wheels.

Best bike I ever had, I bought it for a song from the LBS. Someone wannabe had bought it, fallen off it and unloaded it cheaply.

I used it for competitions and long training days. Its apogee was the Isle of Arran Half Ironman in 2000. After that, I started an MSc, stopped racing and left the bike in the cellar.

It was rusty and corroded, and could do with a respray, but it rides BEAUTIFULLY now. Not sure what I'll use it for, as it deserves more respect than it will get on the daily commute, but maybe I'll give it to SWMBO.

Now I just need to do the winter trainer and the MTB, as well as maintain the commuter hack and lube up the folder. Is 5 bikes too many?
