My eldest son is getting married in four weeks time. And they've picked their favourite place to do it. Glencoe! We cannot wait. But my youngest son, bless him, lives in that London! Poor kid.

Just been out for a pint with my eldest son - it's his 18th birthday today.
Happy birthday, son-of-Shaun!

My dad didn't go to pubs. He was put off them by helping out in his parents' pub. He'd had his fill of drunks by the time he was old enough to drink himself.

Actually, thinking about it - I never did anything with my dad. He was always either working, taking his dogs out for walks or just sitting about with my mum!

Is that your lad Liam or do have 3 sons? Congratulations to him anyway, whichever son it is!

I'm going to be up in that area (near Oban) myself for a week around then. Are you just dashing up for the wedding and dashing back afterwards or will you stay for a proper holiday while you are at it?

I haven't been to Glencoe since I was a child. I hope we will find time to go there. We'll be walking up Ben Nevis another day and will probably also go mountain biking at Fort William and elsewhere.

Let's hope we get good weather, eh?

I'll be 60 by the time my boy's old enough to buy me a pint, gasp!

It's a great feeling isn't it Shaun, hope your son is having a great day.

My two lads are 18 and 21, my eldest is now my training partner on bike runs.

Love them both to bits and like you, so very very proud.
