I'd be wary of striding into any argument without understanding what had just happened. I was once pounced on by a drunk guy at the traffic lights, he tried to whack me through my open window (I was driving), I got out, tried to talk to him, he went at it again, so I put him on the floor (no punches, just a sweep) and "sat" on him whilst i tried to get my mobile and call the police, young women screeches up, jumps out and starts clwawing and hitting me, calling me a city yob and actually spitting at me.
You never know what started the row, so should tread carefully untill you do.
Take it easy out there

So credit where credit's due. It's an urban cyclist analogy I first heard used by Origamist, some weeks back.
In fact, I have an idea!!!
