A book and a bag of maltesers today. No, really. Having to carry it to work limits it a bit.
I did get a Kindle a month ago as a present to bring with me, but as I paid for it not sure if that counts.

Endura Thermal socks, just the job.
Camelback, some new fingerless gloves...my LBS's done well.
and non cycling, all the normal clothes you get (walking round like a shop mannequin at the moment), a new rechareable razor (mine was getting a bit long in the tooth), smellies, chocolate, sliding doors,
etc etc.

Every year from now on, I've decided to ask for a present that I lost when we moved house half a century ago when I was a child.
Today, Santa brought me the encyclopaedia that I had when I was 9. It's 50+ years old and in brilliant condition (the book that is - I wish I could say the same about me! ). I've been sitting reading it for half the morning!
He also brought me a build-your-own Morph kit complete with 15 episodes of the same.

Every year me and the misses keep saying we'll wit for the January sales and never do, we then see everything we've bought at reduced prices. So, this year we've actually done it, it's great; I cant wait to see what bargains we can pick up.

What did I get? The same as Mrs Hippo - NOTHING! We don't limit our gift giving to Christmas & birthdays If I see something that I think she will like, I'll buy it for her and the same applies to her so any day can be Christmas/birthday.
