Yes, peds are far more unpredictable then cars ime. Far more likely to come off and hit your head. And if that does not give you a headache then the civil suit will, if of course you were riding illegally.

Overcome if you mount one either side, firing in opposite directions at the same time.

....in my experience of riding on the road and a ped suddenly walks out in front of you. Now imagine riding on the pavement and being surronded by the iPod Caffeine junkies and tell me you are not afraid.

So when riding on the pavement I should use an airzound to make the peds get out of my way and wear a helmet in case I hit one.
It would be so much better if I could ride safely on the road, but of course this isn't possible because of the traffic and because there aren't enough cycle lanes.

I would be happy to pay road tax if the money was spent on proper cycle lanes that peds didn't use as overflow footpaths.
