I assume that's because Bexleyheath Police Station has a dedicated cycle unit, including trained officers, satellite vehicle surveillance and a virtual reality incident reconstruction suite? Or is it because they can't be @rsed and would like it if you would kindly f&*k off while they investigate some 'proper' crimes.

Just got back from jury service where my faith in the police was not a winner.

I wish I was surprised. I think it's a story ripe for the papers. Email one of the cyclo journos who work for the Times, Guardian or dare I say it the ES. There was some interest in the police-indifference angle when I filmed my accident but I chose not to go down that road. I regret it now. It's time they were pressured into taking these more seriously

I'd be tempted to copy in your local MP, London Assembly member (assume you live in a London Borough?) and even Bojo's office, since he's in charge of transport, policing and London as a whole.
