I must say, you seem to be doing a helluva good job. It's been...............whoa............well now, let me think.........goodness knows how long.........since I last heard of a dragon.

And I know of one in Plymouth...

We heard you the first time dear.
These old people you meet on the bus, keep pretending they used to be high flying lawyers, ah bless!
Is that your stop dear, better ding the bell to let the driver know.
There was a hiccup in the system - I definitely only posted it once. Other posters 'upthread' were similarly afflicted.
Hey, I never claimed to be high flying. I just got on with my job and the customers kept trickling through the door and, by and large, leaving happy. I decided right at the start that there was a life outside work, so I was never interested in a Big Firm job - and a lass that I mentor tells me that as a Trainee Solicitor at a mega-firm she is usually there till 20.00 and has to do the occasional all-nighter. Daft.
