Meh. I've not drunk for so long due to medication I've gone off the taste of beer, even if i wasn't back on the meds. Which I am.

Monday to Friday it's usually no beer for me, unless I go to the pub on a Thursday night, but I like to make up for it Saturday and Sunday.

The Grim Reaper suggested that it might be a good idea for me to give up my boozy lifestyle, so I did!

For me it is more a case of 'Sober since (that) September' ...

I am always sober so it's no trouble for me. I don't believe in getting drunk.

Same here: when I was young, new to the UK, I tried very hard to embrace this local "had a fantastic time, don't remember a thing" custom, but, with great regret I had to admit defeat as alcohol makes me sleepy.
It's really not recommended to fall asleep in a club in Glasgow, anything could happen
Anyway @User if you do the sober for October are you going to be crabbit for the whole month?
