I've been on the piss since early June and have had a whale of a time. I usually have a totally dry November but think I'll bring in forward to October this year, may do November too.

I think i posted the same story last year. Anyway, quite a few years ago i wanted to see how long i could go without beer. I was quite successful. Instead of setting myself a set target of say a month i just weighed up how i felt the following day and if i was ok i'd do another dry day. After about 3 weeks i got to the stage where i didn't fancy anymore beer. This worried me. Just imagine a life without beer i thought. So i started boozing again to get myself back onto it. I think i saved myself just in time!

Maybe I can use sober October to give up chocolate/cakes/junk? Idk if I can do it. Maybe I will donthe first week of october. Is there an equivalent specifically to give up junk food?

Pick 30 days and do it, if you want to.

I gave up buying newspapers at the beginning of February 2016 and I've stuck to it through sheer will-power. It's been so good for my general well-being, (what with the Referendum an' all) , that I feel that I can stick on the grog in October.

Terribly sorry.
