I've had enough, not even riding after my water-filled pothole experience last week but getting the bus is way more miserable.

All I know is I'm fed up of the alleyway being like a cyclocross course and the cat's continually muddy feet.

'How many times have I told you to wipe them?'

- wide-eyed uncomprehending look-

'it is loads of times!'

- wide-eyed uncomprehending look-

- runs towards bed-

'OI!'

Not looking forward to the ride home tonight - the weather is now getting to the point where all enjoyment has gone and it's just a slog

Wet isn't really the issue here though, is it? It's the sideways rain and horrid wind that causes the most upset.

How much does it cost to Oldham?

Thems the days when it's snowing or misty.

We could use some of that down under. January and (so far) February have been hot and dry. My ride home yesterday was in 34°C heat, and the overnight temperature in my bedroom was about 28. Bring on Winter!

This winter has been a slog compared to recent ones, but at last the cycling has not stopped. In recent winters I lost weeks of cycling due to the snow.

If this winter had been cold enough, how deep would the snow be by now.

I was thinking that today. Last January here was snow city but I think if it had been colder, we'd be virtually buried by now.
