Sodding Road Repairs

If I do come to a closure, I proceed and try my luck and always asking workmen politely if they are about.

To be honest if it was a dual lane road, or one that didn't rise vertically, I would have done that too, but there are places on that road that could easily be impassable without backtracking, climbing over gates and trudging across the moors.
Getting to the top and realising I had to turn round would have destroyed my soul 😆

We seem to get a fair number of "Pop-up Reservoirs" where Anglia Water dig a hole in the middle of the road, fill it with water, barrier it off and then disappear for a couple of weeks.
