SOLD Carrera Subway

Careers subway 8 speed triple.
Frame centre to top is 18"
It has done 15-20 dry miles and been stored since summer.
I bought it off a guy who got it on cycle to work scheme and went to the pub on it once, I have ridden it home from work (3 miles) and down the local green way cycle track with my daughter (8 miles).

When I bought it the guy said the frame was about 19" which I thought would be ok but at 18" it's definatley too small.

The Careers badge on the head tube is lifting slightly on one side but other than that it is excellent condition as it has barely been ridden.

Here are some pictures.

The saddle shown on the bike is not the saddle on it now as I swapped it from my wife's other bike, the one in it now is quite a padded beige women's specific saddle, I will try to get a pic of it.

I will take £100 for the bike as I need space.

I will have to put it on eBay if I get no interest here.

1. Does it have 26" or 27.5" wheels
2. What height would it be suitable for if it's too small?

I'm just about 5'10" and felt it was too small, maybe that was just because I'm not used to the riding style of a hybrid.

The 2015 version says 27.5" wheels, obviously this is not a 2015 but the bike is currently at work and I'm off this week, if manage to call in this week I will check the size for you.

Also if it makes a difference I can put the original saddle back on for you as the wife could do with trying different saddles, it's just the hybrid one was to see the difference between a wider and narrower saddle, which is better.

@DCLane sorry it's taken a while, the wheels are 26, if you are interested I could deliver as you're not that far from Harrogate.

It's likely to do 20 miles a year but it'll last him.
