The TDF has left the nest for the give away price of £70
If I don't buy another bike then I can keep the Defy.
Problem is that planet x have the holdsworth single speed for £233!! That is really tempting

Sold the Defy for £220.
A lot lower than I thought, but sold to a really nice chap who I hope will get a lot of use out of it.

It is nice having extra space in the garage, so do I keep saving for a nice set of wheels or a new bike??

I am glad you sold it, shame it wasn't for a higher price as it was really nice.

hmmmm wheels or bike? wheels you could use on multiple bikes!

Tbf money doesn't really drive me. It comes and goes. It doesn't seem to matter how much people have it is never enough, so I just try and make do with what I have.

I'm in no rush to buy new wheels or a new bike as I have all I need for the winter (other than bib tights!!)

Reminds me I need something warmer for the winter, I haven't taken the road bike out for a proper maiden ride yet.

My summer bike is in bits being cleaned before I put it back together at some point. I need to buy some new cables though. (I could buy a new group set!!)

After tonight's minus 5 ride bib tights are now a must!!
