Giant TCR Composite 1 in Small (50cm) carbon frame and forks. The forks are Wolf aero TT forks as this was originally a Time Trial bike, hence the ‘Iron Man’ logo on the LHS. Ultegra 6700 10 speed shifters with Ultegra 6700 front and rear derailleurs fitted. Comes with Ultegra 6800 rear and 6600 front brakes with Superstar Components black pads. Shimano FC-RS500 170mm crankset (105 level) with SRAM 52/36 chainrings [If preferred Shimano 50/34 chainrings can be supplied]. Shimano R540 SPD-SL white pedals included and the bottom bracket is an Ultegra 6800. Headset had new bearings in early 2016.
Fulcrum 5 wheels, Shimano 105 12-25 cassette with Schwalbe Durano Etape ‘Yorkshire edition’ tyres. These are quite used so a spare pair of Schwalbe One tyres are included. Zipp 40cm handlebars and the stem is a short 70mm Bontrager, a Felt carbon seatpost and the saddle a Specialized Body Geometry 143mm, although it has a few marks. Garmin mount and Zefal bottle cage included.
This has been my son’s training bike for the past couple of years. Originally a top-end TT bike it spent most of it’s life unused until built up as a road training bike in 2016. Since then it’s been used for training plus occasional races and time trials. No crashes although there are a few marks.
