Really not sure mate, what are you using now ?

They are SPD/SL pedals so won't work with the trainer/walking shoe type SPD shoes.

I do know that Time pedals have a lot of float which is good for people with knee problems.

Meant to add £36 new, would you accept £25

Hi @oldgreyandslow

The Time RXS 'First' pedals you have linked are a model below these & are the Base model ....

I can't do links but Time RXS 'Speed' pedals are the pedals you are looking for, they just changed the model name but not the pedal or spec.

Postage on the Look pedals I just sold on here was £4, so £33.50 posted is best I can do *& they are new*, represents a £10 saving on the CRC price I quoted.

Thanks.

Steve.

Classic33 has first refusal then I reckon
No offer made ...

I think @classic33 is unsure of there suitability for his needs (4 wheel drive bicycle)

They are really best for SPD/SL type 'road' shoes & as I have never used them or the open double sided SPD trainer/walking shoe type then I don't know if they are suitable for that type of shoe.

Anyway, first to buy gets a quality brand new *in effect* set of pedals for the price of low end stuff & will be a happy bunny.

*Lots of float on these so good for dodgy knees*

I'm after a pair for the cycle shown above, and suitable off-road shoes.

I have one pair of Shimano SPD's lying idle, I don't want a second set. It's why I asked about suitability. If they go, they go.

Really not sure about that @classic33

From what you've said about off road shoes - I would imagine you would be better off with double sided (open) SPD pedals.

SPD/SL cleats are not great for walking any distance but great for putting power through your cranks.

Not sure if this helps at all.
