I was sitting in my back yard in the sunshine at the weekend, having a chat with a mate, when WWIII almost broke out opposite us. A woman had dared to place a small clothes horse of washing in a sunny corner of an empty car park. Another woman came rushing out of her house and dumped the clothes horse on the pavement on the other side of the low car park wall, shouting about it being a private residents' car park! It isn't that they are short of space - it is littered with childrens' toys, old Christmas trees, garden waste etc.

5 minutes later, washerwoman walked across the car park and pinned her washing to a line across the opposite corner of the car park with the permission of another of the car park owners, to the irritation of angry woman #1 - Ha ha!
