I was at college with a farmer's son. He had a Morris 1000 pick-up. He and two friends would down a few pints and drive to his father's farm after dark and turn on the Cibie lights mounted to the front bumper. They would then drive like Mr Toad round the fields with two people leaning over the cab firing pump action 12 bores at all bunnies that came into view. He would return with the cargo compartment entirely full of dead rabbits. The local butcher took the lot, but if he parked the vehicle on the street overnight, his neighbours would get extremely upset.
