But not necessarily if they'll still load your policy for said no fault claim...regardless of protected ncbWhich is why I say read the policy documents first before calling. If they do cover vandalism as a no fault claim then this should be in there...

I think @vickster s point is that even a no fault claim will effect premiums as it has a correlation in risk.Which is why I say read the policy documents first before calling. If they do cover vandalism as a no fault claim then this should be in there...
Movement detecting web cams can be very cheap to buy...wireless and simple to hide.Went out to the car yesterday to find a nasty scratch down one door panel and across the bonnet. On closer inspection there's also damage to the passenger door , rear window, and in two more places across the back.
Who the feck does that?!
We live on a dead end estate a few miles from town, you can't just "pass through" so this has most likely been done by someone who either lives close by or was visiting.
We also park on a driveway, right up by a wall, so they've very deliberately walked around the car to do this.
It would seem we are the only ones to have been hit -the police asked if I might know who'd done it.
Erm, sure, because I'm in the habit of peeing people off so much that they'd come round in the middle of the night to take revenge!!
This is our compromise car, so we could save a bit of money, it's 3 months old!!! Mr6 is not a happy man.
The kids won't be happy come xmas when we gift wrap them the body repair!!
A few years ago my car was getting scratched weekly, I had no idea who was doing it and my car was the only one on the car park that was being scratched.
After a few months nearly every panel had a mark on it and by this time I had give up and couldn't care less, one morning I went down to find a dent in the valance on the rear door, now this really pissed me off so while I was in town I went to the police to show them, they said which surprised me “you know the person who it doing this, who have you upset”.
I had a long think about this and I came up with no one, I'm well liked in my area and I try to help people out that I know.
A few months later I close friend was diagnosed with cancer and I was there for him took him to he hospital and made sure he got all the financial help he could, the scratches still continued.
Fast forward a few months he was dying in hospital and I went to visit, his family were all there and out of the blue he said “has the scratches stopped” I replies “couldn't care less now the car is ruined and it would cost too much for a respray”.
A few days later he died, at the funeral I sat next to one of his friends and he said to me “I'm surprised your here, he hated you, he was so jealous as you had everything he wanted”.
The scratches stopped...........
You can't see the car from the house, not even from the upstairs windows, because of the garden wall. We'd have to mount a camera on the wall or the garage itself. If you have a helmet cam, while out cycling, could you leave it on an upstairs window ledge, just a thought.
Put in a claim for whiplash while trying to see the carYou can't see the car from the house, not even from the upstairs windows, because of the garden wall°
