I went to Geneva Motorshow on Thursday and Friday. Never been to one before in my life. Was a good experience, but felt like a peasant at times, around the really high-end car exhibits. Some decent companies though, like Aston Martin, McLaren, Manory (High end vehicle customisation company), would let anybody, like me, whom is never going to be be able to afford one, look around the cars, sit in them etc (limited number of people at a time), but was not a real long wait. Porsche had no barriers at all. Probably others that never wanted to look in. Regular cars anybody could walk around get inside.

Really liked Switzerland, really laid back country, but expensive.

Would recommend it, could be done in just one long day if required though.

Mmmmmmm, nice...

Been a while since I last went to a motor show, but I enjoy automotive exotica as much as anyone. OK, my tastes run more to rallying-based machinery, but hey... Although I've had wonderful time getting up close and personal with a Honda NSX and a Porsche 911 GT3

I just took the pics with an Iphone. It's a company one, they're overly expensive, but at least the camera is very good. My mate's son reckons that huge shiny black, new model Bugatti, is $16,000,000, that's obscene to me, if you've got it though I guess...

We couldn't get access to the Koenigsegg enclosure at it was the elite only. My friend's young son whom was with us, is obsessed with cars., asked a lady in the enclosure if Christian von Koenigsegg would sign his supercar book, which he did. Then by chance in Geneva airport on the way home he was sitting eating with his wife at a bar. My mate's son got his picture taken with him, seemed like a really nice, down to earth guy. Obviously made my mates son's day, which was good. I hadn't a clue whom he was until this trip though...

We happened to be in New York last April so GtiJunior dragged us along to the motor show. It was a very different scene though; many of the cars were huge muscle-car 4x4s and the public huge muscle-bound rednecks.

Nice pictures. Thanks.
Being slightly anal, if I was the head of some of those car companies, I would be taking to one side those responsible for the final preparation and bending their ears. If your car is to be photographed and potentially seen by millions, at least have the wheels and tyres symmetrically placed.
