Mind you, I'm going to work from home for a couple of hours this morning, i suppose I could take the laptop up to bed......


You have my sympathies really, I got absolutely soaked riding to work yesterday.
Luckily, the guy with the office next to mine is on holiday this week so I put my bike in there, spread my cycling gear all over the place, stuck a fan heater in there and shut the door.
All toasty warm and dry for the ride home

Haha yeah when dry i will hang it on the line to freshen before bringing it in.

One of my mates left his good gloves sitting on a rock half way up a hill a few weeks ago. It would've taken him too long to go back up and get them, he was not happy.

Do you mean to say you don't check the weather forecast at least twice a day? A proper, serious cyclist is always aware of the latest forecast. You deserve no sympathy.
