the last thing i was worried about was what bloody gear it was in

i think you guys are talking about those "mudguards" things. yeah, i need to get some for it. that or use my other bike

i didn't think it was going to be that muddy today. bloody farmers fault, covering the road in muck

So, there's us thinking it was mud, and all the time it was sh*t. Do mudguards prevent sh*t from getting on your bike or do you have to buy sh*tguards?

well i didn't actually get it analysed but is was definitely farmers muck. i hit a couple of those 50 yard mud trails that they like to leave every time they exit a field.

Try riding with your arms bent a bit at the elbow. In your picture you have your elbopws locked out which over long rides will cause serious discomfort, Bending your elbows, say be dropping your elbow by 2 or 3 inches will not only improve your position (which is quite upright at the moment for a road bike) but will add an extra shock absorbing point helping to aid your comfort.

Hope this helps - and I work in a bike shop so I do kinda know what I'm saying. I personally would haev put you on the next frame up, but if you're comfy, then so be it

The thing about not being "virgin clean" anymore is that it's replaced by "dirty and experienced" ;) now the fun really starts.

yeah, i dont usually ride with locked arms but when the pic was taken (actually its a still from a video) i had just raced down the back lane and im slowing down quick to make a sharp 180 degree turn.

in fact its so comfy that i took measurements from my other bike, set this one up out the box based on those measurements and haven't had to make any adjustments.

im not too keen on a low stretched out position, squashes the tummy

very nice bike, rides like a dream and looks stunning

one common thing with the boardmans is loose spokes so make sure to check/tighten these and everything should be fine :becool:
