The only comfort I take from Spurs current predicament is knowing that Alan 'Nookie Bear' Sugar is suffering.

That's an interesting comment, because I reckon that by this time next year there may be fans of more than a few clubs who wish they had had Alan Sugar in charge.

His priority at Spurs was to get the finances right instead of throwing good money after bad trying to buy success, and when you see the incredible amount of debt most of the top clubs are now in with a recession looming there could be a few serious bankruptcies in the Premiership.
