..and that's just some (most) of what I could find in the kitchen - it's too hot to go in the loft, and I can't be bothered to sort through the dining room cupboards.
While on the subject, does anyone know of an M Robson of Fountain House Gateshead?

Solicitor at No. 2 Fountain House. Why, do you want to make a will?

And that seven fluted design, its no longer legal for use.

I suppose I should, at my advanced age, if only to ensure my beer glass collection goes to a good home. Mind you, M Robson must also be getting on a bit, if he was using that pint glass in 1882.

No longer legal, you say? I'd better stop using it. I prefer a straight glass anyway. Are these (also from the kitchen) approved for drinking from?

They can't sell you drink in it. Nothing to stop you using it though.

The world's population of anoraks have just joined CC for a chance to read this thread.
And immediately thought "fark me this place looks a bit dull, let's try out bottletopcollectors.com."

Well, I made a visit of my local charity shops and found several 414s, (Derbyshire), a 303 (West Yorkshire), a 2043, and yet another bloody M13!

Oh, and to add to the tragedy, I (rather stupidly) went on to Ebay earlier and bought a 465 (Scottish Highlands).

Those are nice . Victorian pressed glass is fascinating, I used to collect it a bit. Once there was a cheaper way of making sparkly decoration on glass than by cutting it, the designers went completely overboard and put loads of it all over the place. Those handles look really uncomfortable.
No good without the numbers though!
