Anyway, here is a George V glass registered to Newcastle which I picked up earlier in a charity shop

On looking it up, it would have been used between 1910 and 1930, so it's 95 years young at the very least!:

It is ok diamond pattern, not the 'dimple' kind which is more common.

Harp's like piss, and those two are a bit watery compared to Guinness.

Some of them are German as well, from my work travels.

I've now changed my opinion of Murphy's after working in Wexford for the last few weeks.

Every night after my tea I've popped in to the T. Morris bar for a pint, the Murphy's in there is lovely, a bit smokier and bitter compared to Guinness and absolutely delicious.
