Really? Back in the day we all knew 'a friend of a friend' who had been sold a small piece of a compacted brown substance, and only realised by the smell when warming it up, Rizlas at the ready, that it was Oxo ...

I also know someone who purchased an Oxo cube thinking it was something else, and someone else who purchased a very expensive lump of mud but they didnt try to make anything with them.

I have done a bungee jump, once, and it was aces. I was obviously very nervous at first but it was very strange waiting for our turn watching other people jump... it very quickly turned to "normal" behaviour and the fear dissipated.

Nothing life threatening has ever become 'normal' for me no matter how much time I spent with it. Though the closest I got was abseiling and I still wasn't happy doing it. I think my fear of heights is very dominant.

There are certain foodstuffs which I wouldn't want to go near though. Oysters, eyeballs, testicles, that kind of thing. I just don't think it would stay down.

I can't do the testicles or eyeballs, or even brains but oysters are lovely. Not sure where that counts in terms of oyster brain and oyster testicles, if they have them. I know they don't have eyeballs...

I once ate a fish's eyeball in a biology lesson as a dare. It tasted chalky. Never knowingly eaten testicles but I have burst several whilst gutting cockerels. They keep them high up in the chests and many people think they're the lungs...
