I work away from home quite a lot so my riding is restricted to a 15 mile round trip commute Monday and friday, and en a long run at the weekend.
So why after getting through a long week, did I wake up yesterday with man flu and a bad chest which meant I couldn't get out and ride!
And does anyone else get depressed if they miss their long ride? I've missed it two weekends in a row now :-(

I know what you mean about the riding me and 2 of the chaps on here had geared ourselves up for the London to Brighton with the old cars last Sunday we made it to HPC but 2 out of the 3 of us were saturated and freezing so we trundled off to Paddington and got the train home that was my first gutted bike experience. Comparing last Sunday to this weather wise it makes it even more annoying
). I'll be missing the next few. Stand back I'll be getting into a proper funk by december.
