This is what I've been pondering. Before now I see myself as unbreakable, without weakness, the perfect specimen. But I've come to realise, my strength is my only weakness.
The dedication I give to being the perfect alpha male means I've developed a lack of basic human emotion. My relationships with those around me have suffered whilst I strive for godlike status.
It's all well and good being up there with the best, but if you have nobody to share it with, what is the point?..

That reminded me of Colonel Kutz's monologue in Apocolypse, the one at the end where he goes "the horror, the horror! He was easily the best 200lb+ actor in the world.
My bubble is burst when I read that you have to "work hard and be determined". Surely to someone of your calibre it should all come naturally; no real effort required?
