Rezillo said:I'll confess my view of the VU has been coloured by my experience as a student in the mid 70s, when the couple of old hippies who lived in a flat above the house I shared forced us to listen to all their records. Their music hadn't acquired the untouchable status it now has and we weren't very complimentary. Mind you, I didn't fare much better for thinking the Clash were grossly over-rated a few years later.
