We use to go to a cafe where they had a Juke Box, and kept putting this on continually.

The Sundays!!

Saw them for the first time in London in 1988 or so. We'd gone to see another band, but Sundays were the support. We were all blown away by them (well largely by Harriet). Of the group of mates I went with, one now lives in Germany, one in California, two in the middle east, one new Zealand and I'm in Holland. That's what growing up in Basingstoke does to you!

I had my first ever "school disco snog" to this. She was called Annette, and we were 'an item' for about 8 months after that. I met her again years later when I went to the bank to sort out my recently deceased dad's affairs, and she was the person dealing with it  We recognised each other instantly, and had a bit of a laugh about all those years before.

They're an attractive bunch, Greenman, but not exactly in the same league as Harriet Wheeler.
