Correct. There is nothing with the word margerine included in the labelling.

Birkett's (since bought out by (bloody) Greggs) used to do a Diamond Malt Loaf (not as 'malty' as soreen and no fruit either).. now a slice of that, fried and smothered in Marmite was a taste sensation

They changed the recipe in 1994 so really it is not margarine as invented by Hippolyte Mège-Mouriès

Check the label.

Ocado might call it Stork Margerine but Unilever, its maker, call it Stork Spread.

That is an excellent suggestion. I just realised that instead of discarding the leftover sections i could assemble them into an identical loaf! Doh!

Either identical, or mirror image. I wonder if it would affect the flavour....

(Here I must confess to not being a huge Soreen fan myself. I'll eat it, but I'd rather have cake).
