Just to stay with the off topic thread, and while I'm at it throw in a snippet I found hilarious when I was about 11.

Why do nuns go around in pairs?

Because one nun sees the other nun don't get none.

I thank you.

On Daciachat (its not really called that but it should be) a thread was on about personal registrations I said I'd found a really fab one (and I have my initial and surname) but said I couldn't afford it as I was saving for a new bike.... someone suggested I spend my bike fund on it......

first reaction was

^^That and well over a grand change? Cadillac BLS (!)
Central locking, cruise, aircon, 50-odd mpg and 140 mph. Presumably not simultaneously...
Granted, it's done 40 000 miles, which for a modern turbo-diesel is pretty much run in...
Bit left-field, but I like it.

STEREOTYPE ALERT!!!!!

The only trouble with those is that whenever you see one it's usually about 2" off your rear end in the third lane of the motorway, with an angry obese middle aged slaphead screaming at you.

Or am I thinking of the CLS? ^_^

I like the look of the Dacia, if I'm ever in a position to afford a new car one of those could be on the list, in the mean time I'll just keep running around in my old KA

That's the CLS.
A BLS would be driven by calm, kindly-disposed people. The type of bloke who you'd like to have organise a ride

Taking the mickey out my current car (Astra) and my new car...... I'm leaving, I'm off to Daciachat, They are far more friendly over there.....

No, don't do that. Never driven a Dacia, but I'd certainly have no objection to one.
That's one of the things about cars these days, as opposed to, say, 25 years ago. Back then, the worst cars were terrible (FSO Polonez, anyone?). Now, even the worst cars are pretty good.
5 years ago, we had what Top Gear described as the worst car on the market - the Hyundai Accent.
It was perfectly OK. Nothing remarkable, wouldn't set the world on fire, but it was reliable and cheap to run.
