To all my fellow SE Londoners - watch out for car reg. no. SP51 TUU!
It's a hatch-back, maybe mid-blue, but I can't be sure.

I was cycling along Inchmery Road in Catford about half an hour ago, and noticed this woman standing in the middle of the road, in a dressing gown and slippers, shouting and swearing. As I passed, she rushed towards me and pushed me over, then jumped into a car and raced off towards Bromley Road.

So if you see this car, stay well clear, because she is clearly mad and potentially very dangerous.

The Police have been informed, and thankfully I only have a couple of grazes and a slightly achy hand.

The stupidity of some people is simply astounding. What possesses somebody to either stand in the middle of the road and shout gibberish, or to push over an innocent person whom you have no previous contact or knowledge of. A certain class of person needs to have the discipline installed by the state, since they clearly lack a stable foundation at home.

Not really willful stupidity in this case, either someone who is frankly deranged, or maybe high on some kind of drug, but definitely dangerous.

I cycle past there every day. Hopefully she is not around at 6 in the morning. Glad you are OK

The good thing is that it has been reported to the Police, hopefully they will investigate the matter and sort it out.
