Spent a happy couple of hours wandering round talking bikes and stuff. Admittedly its a bit like paying a tenner to visit a bike shop but the atmosphere was chilled out ,noone trying the hard sell everyone I chatted to on the various stands happilly chatted at length about their bikes despite me making it clear I wasnt imminently buying.
Very impressed with a CF Orros(I never heard of them before) and the new disc Sabbath also drooled over the County Cycles bikes including a beautifully custom finished step thru Condor made for my friends wife who sadly cant ride it just yet as she has a broken leg.The attention to detail with the paint was incredible.I was surprised they were letting people test ride it on the BMX course though (Only joking Anita :-) )
.Some beautifully made hand built steel creations from various makers made me stand back in awe but I would be frightened to ride such a vision of loveliness .
Its on again tommorow in newport velodrome.(do a google)
