Spare high/low limit screws

Hi

I was trying to adjust my front shimano derailleur earlier and noticed the top of one of the high/low screws had started to burr (is that the right word?) - is there anywhere where I can get a spare - the bike is only a few months old, and no doubt the burring is due to either my heavy handedness or wrong screwdriver head.

Are they easy to obtain anywhere?

Just searched eBay for derailleur screws - 30 results, though some seem disproportionately expensive!

You might be able to fix the existing heads if you can remove them and use a Dremel type cutting tool to re-cut the tops, or perhaps a hacksaw if slim enough.

Thanks - I thought that when I searched too - and they don't seem to be the limiter screws. I like the Dremel idea - I may try that if push comes to shove. My other thought was to go to my local recycle project (the charity which takes old used bikes and refurbs them) and ask if they have any spares I can buy.

they should be metric screws, m3 or m4 - easy to source.

I machined some stainless socket screws for one,a far better job.
