Float - google it

The yellow ones have quite a lot of float. This allows your foot to move on the pedal in a rotary kind of way. You may like this you may not. If you don't like it, them move to one with less float, but be very sure that you have them set at the right angles before you do. I went for some of the less floaty sort after knackering my knee skiing and finding it difficult to rotate my foot to release. After a bit of wear they didn't feel any different. Never tried the zero float option, but if you do, you need to be certain of your set up, I would say.

Best to take the hit and buy the £12 shimano ones - you can get clones as cheap as £4, which I did once - not nearly as durable.
