Specialized Allez Sport Compact 2012 or Scott Speedster s40 Triple

Hi,

I am just about to buy a new racer and have chosen two to look at Specialized Allez Sport Compact 2012 or the Scott Speedster s40 Triple.

Has anyone got a preference and any information on the above?

Whilst im here check out RITTE Racing, fantastic bikes and story.

Quite different bikes TBH. The Allez has a racier geometry and compact cassette while the Speedster is more relaxed with more gears, it also has better components. Hard to compare really, you need to ride each to understand the difference.

Thanks 2pies, I rode the s50 speedster 2012 today, nice ride. I may well go for the s20 2011 which is better spec and i can pick it up for a reasonable price.
